The Plan of Redemption is amazing.  Jesus died in our place for the sins we committed, and he has adopted us into his family.  We have this assurance that no matter what happens to us in this world, nothing can snatch us from his hand.  As redeemed we also have the privilege of our brokeness being changed by Him, to be more like Him, and to be thus re-sensitised to recognise the elements of the spiritual warfare raging around us. 

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12
