The Jewish rulers had accused Jesus of blasphemy and thus worthy of death, the Roman soldiers had nailed him to the cross, and His disciples had deserted Him in fear. But to all of them Jesus said: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”  

When Jesus met up with the displaces in the upper room He said: “Peace be with you.”  Peace and forgiveness go hand in hand together. The only way I can forgive like Jesus is to have the power of Jesus working in my life. Only then can I share the gospel of Jesus with others.

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. Colossians 3:13
