Judah had tried to weasel out of his responsibilities to care for his daughter-in-law Tamar. For Judah it was easier to ignore her and hope that she would forget that he had promised her his youngest son in marriage, to give her the heir his oldest son had failed to provide her. In the end Tamar had to take the responsibility herself, and was double blessed by God who gave her twin sons. Are you trying to get out of doing what God wants you to do? Taking responsibility is only something that we can do as we have faith that God will fulfil what He has promised, and I choose to believe those promises. Faith means nothing without action, and only by action will my faith grow.
