More Than Conquerors

It’s very dark, a few hours before dawn, the wind is fierce in the midst of the sea of Galilee, and Peter obeys Jesus’ command to step off the boat.  As Peter heads towards Jesus, walking on the water, he suddenly became very conscious of the wind and waves around him. Fear fills him, his faith falters and he takes his eyes off Jesus. At that moment he starts to sink, and all he can do is cry out, “Lord, save me”, and Jesus is there to grasp his hand.  I too need to learn not to focus on the difficulties and trials that threaten to envelop me, but to remember to focus on Jesus because “…all His biddings are enablings.”
