Knowing, Growing and Going in God
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters;
And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without price.
Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Isaiah 55:1-2
Kirsten Hughes began with talking about how we can know God. We try to fill the God sized hole in our lives, but none of them quench our thirst for God. The truth of God’s love is available to us all, but we have to make time to search them out in the Bible. Tasman Chapman followed up by the importance of growing in God. As we spend time with God, he will then produce the fruit of the spirit in our lives. Katelyn Waite then finished with challenging us to go with God. If we know God and we are growing with God, then we should be sharing our love for God with others.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-3
