Rodney MacCallen
Abraham’s Children of the East
Rodney takes us on a journey that began nearly four thousand years ago with the births of Ishmael and Isaac. From both arose great nations whose descendants, legacy and faith define nearly half the world’s current population. From Genesis to Revelation, through covenants and prophecies, through times of war and peace, God displays his power and love, and His plan of salvation for each of us. The mission that Christ has given us is to submit to the will of the Father, and serve Him by sharing that salvation plan with all our fellow earth inhabitants – every nation, kindred, tongue and people.
Gen 17:19-20 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
Gen 25:6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
