The Daily Blessed Hope
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3;18
Sin removes the “daily”, the continual connection and focus we have on Christ. The Holy Spirit works on our hearts and minds but Satan continually tries to stand between us and Jesus. He tries to remove the connection we have with Jesus. God is in the process of bringing his people to the place where they can continuously think about what He has done for them. God is not wanting to merely change us from sinning to not sinning. Satan is trying to take Jesus out and to put the world in, while God is seeking to restore a people who are continuously magnifying his name and praise him. Jesus doesn’t just want us to have life but to have us more abundantly.
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 34:1
