Richard de Klerk
Thank You So Very Much
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. Colossians 3:12, 13
Forgiveness is a voluntary and intentional change in feelings and attitudes. In his sermon today, Richard examines the importance of forgiveness in our lives. Friendships, relationships, family and, most importantly, churches, cannot exist without forgiveness. It is only as we forgive others that Jesus will be able to forgive us. The peace that passes all understanding comes with forgiveness.
“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
Isaiah 1:18
